Coaching Services

1What is Financial/Wealth Coach?
Financial Coach is someone who helps you create a plan and provides accountability for achieving your financial goals. Whether you are focused on getting out of debt, building your savings, or increasing your credit score, a financial coach can help you do that.
2What's covered during the initial 15-minute consultation?
During the 15-minute consultation, we will talk about your biggest financial struggles and how I can help you get past your money hurdles. At the end of the call, you will decide if you would like to continue with full coaching sessions. There is no obligation to sign up for a coaching package after the initial consultation.
3What's the difference between a Financial Coach, Financial Advisor, or Financial Planner?

A Financial Coach is someone who will be with you every step of the way. A coach is available to answer all questions, big and small when it comes to money. Financial Coaches work with all income levels.

A Financial Advisor is someone who advises clients on investments, taxes, or insurance. They do not provide help budgeting, debt repayment planning, and money mindset. Most of the time, you need at least a $3,000 investment before working with a Financial Advisor.

A Financial Planner is someone who helps you with short term and long term goal planning for your investments. Similar to Financial Advisors, they do not provide help budgeting, debt repayment planning, and money mindset. Most of the time, you need at least a $3,000 investment before working with a Financial Planner.

4What makes you a financial "expert"?
I have over 10 years of experience coaching and helping women navigate their finances their way. I received my MBA in finance in 2008. During that time, I started providing financial counseling and coaching to family and close friends. I realized people often had similar questions, especially women. So I decided to start Budget Like a Lady which grew into the coaching business you see today.

5What are the benefits of Financial Coaching?

One of the BEST benefits about working with a Financial Coach is seeing results, quickly. Financial coaches create customized financial plans and work with you every step of the way to help build your wealth and achieve financial freedom. There is no trial and error when working with a financial coach. Your coach has proven financial systems and steps to help you reach your goals.

Working with a Financial Coach can (and will) save you money. Financial Coaches are cheaper than working with debt consolidators, (which can be over $1,000 per year), and filing bankruptcy (over $1,500)

6Where do we meet?
Sessions are usually held on the telephone or video conference. If we are in the same city, we can meet at my office or a local coffee shop.
7Will you be investing for me?
No. I do not invest for you. If you are looking for someone to invest for you, I suggest working with a Financial Advisor for this.
8How can I pay for coaching when I have no extra money?
If you want to change your current financial situation, you will find a way. Sorry to be blunt but we are women who problem solve every day, we can figure it out if it is important enough. If you didn't have any financial struggles, how would you feel? How much stress and anxiety will be taken away from solving your financial problems? I don't want you to stress about money anymore. It's time to make a change.
